Delaware Hoppy Hour

The Delaware Hoppy Hour is a 21+ weeknight furry meet at Liquid Alchemy Beverages (LAB), a meadery and cidery in Wilmington, Delaware. The Furst State, the Delaware furry community behind the Delaware Furbowl and the Delaware Furcade, organizes it for people who cannot make the group's weekend events because of work. The first three editions ran on Thursday evenings in May, July and September 2026, from 5:30 to 8:30 PM.

What to Expect

The Hoppy Hour is a relaxed social evening rather than a dance: LAB's drinks, conversation and what the organizers call outdoor activities. It runs from 5:30 to 8:30 PM, and the venue does not open before 5:30, so the organizers ask people not to arrive early. In July 2026, smoke from Canadian wildfires moved everyone indoors and LAB staff took all orders inside the building, so plan for either setting.

Everyone must be 21 or older. IDs or passports are checked at the door with no exceptions. The Furst State's code of conduct is linked from its site.

How to Get Tickets

RSVP is required, and the organizers do not accept walk-ins, so that the venue can plan for the group. Every plus-one and every member of a group must RSVP as an individual. The RSVP link is on the official Delaware Hoppy Hour page.

The cover fee is $15, paid at the door, and both cash and card are accepted. Drinks are bought from LAB separately.

If you park on the street or at a neighboring business, watch for tow, no-parking and private-property signs, and ask LAB staff if you are unsure where to park.
