Up-ROAR!

Up-ROAR! is a 21+ furry and pup club night in Philadelphia, produced by Furrydelphia, the nonprofit behind the Furrydelphia convention. It runs several times a year at 254 Philadelphia, a club on South 12th Street in the Gayborhood, with furry DJs from 9:00 PM to 2:00 AM. The next Up-ROAR! is on Saturday, November 14, 2026.

What to Expect

Doors open at 9:00 PM and the party runs until 2:00 AM. The music is club-style: house, techno, UK garage, rap and hip-hop, with a different lineup of furry DJs each night. Furrydelphia pitches the night as a social event for furries and adjacent communities such as pups and gear fans, open to any adult but curated mainly for the LGBTQ+ community. Recent nights have added a photo booth, and the June 2026 edition sold Furrydelphia pride merchandise on the third floor.

Street clothes are fine. The organizers also allow gear such as collars, harnesses and jockstraps, within Philadelphia bar rules: no exposed genitals, no visible nipples for women, no diapers without pants, and nothing dangerous such as shock collars or sharp items. Staff can ask anyone to change or leave if their outfit breaks those rules. There is a free coat and bag check.

How to Get Tickets

Admission is $25 at the door, or $22 if you buy online in advance through the official Up-ROAR! site, which also gets you in faster. Everyone must be 21 or older to enter.

Before the party, Furrydelphia hosts an optional prix fixe dinner at Tavern on Camac, the restaurant directly behind 254. The dinner starts at 6:00 PM, usually ends around 7:30 or 8:00 PM, and is limited to 25 people. The site lists it at $48 with an appetizer, a main course and a cocktail, and it is sold as an add-on to an online Up-ROAR! ticket up to the day before.

How to Get There

254 Philadelphia is at 254 S 12th St in Philadelphia. Street parking near the venue is hard to find, so the organizers suggest booking a garage or lot in advance; their staff use Hamilton Garage at 221 S 11th St (self park) and the ABM valet at 1314 Spruce St. If you plan to drink or do not want to drive after 2:00 AM, the organizers recommend staying nearby, and they name the Fairfield Inn by Marriott at 261 S 13th St, the Inn on Camac at 1220 Locust St and the Alexander Inn at 301 S 12th St as the closest hotels.
