The Dice-of-Fate theme rewrites the entire venue copy in D&D language
Every con has a theme; almost none rewrite the official hotel description in the theme''s voice. Furnavia''s `/hotel` page rewrites Quality Hotel Sarpsborg in Dungeons & Dragons language: "14 room quest hub for every adventure", "Great Hall for epic gatherings of up to 850 heroes", "Spell-tier AV and tech in every chamber", "Tavern-style refreshment corner", "Daily popcorn & ice cream loot drop", "Soft beds with snug duvets, perfect for recovering HP."
Quality Hotel "Superland" bundled into the residential pass
This is not a hotel-with-pool. The bundled room rate at Sarpsborg includes access to Superland (water slides, climbing wall, mini-golf), Family Training (a full professional gym), and the spa area with pool, plus 400 on-site parking spaces at 90 NOK/day.
No opt-out from photo and video capture
Furnavia gives attendees no way to opt out of being filmed. The FAQ states it plainly: "Can I request to be removed from media? No, as the waiver says, you will be recorded by the on-site media crew." If you are used to a yellow-lanyard no-photos system, budget for the fact that Furnavia does not run one.
