Anthros & Alpine is a winter sports furry convention held at the Sole Gjestegard lodge in Noresund, Norway, near the Norefjell ski resort. Organized by the team behind Furway and Furnavia, it combines skiing, snowboarding, and fursuiting on the slopes with a cozy Nordic lodge atmosphere featuring communal dinners and fireside gatherings.
Located near the Norefjell ski resort, which has Scandinavia's largest elevation drop at over 1,000 meters, this convention is geared toward outdoor enthusiasts. From January 29 to February 1, 2026, attendees can ski, snowboard, or fursuit on the slopes.
Not a skier? The convention offers free beginner lessons, full gear rentals, and resort amenities including an indoor heated pool and lounge bar.
Run by the volunteer team behind Furway and Furnavia, Anthros & Alpine creates an 18+ Nordic lodge atmosphere. After a day on the slopes, attendees gather at the lodge for multi-course dinners, late-night karaoke, DJ sets, and board games by the fire.

The nearest major airport is Oslo Airport, Gardermoen (OSL). From Oslo, the journey to Noresund takes approximately 2.5 to 3 hours by public transport. On weekdays, take Bus 200 from Oslo to Hønefoss, then Bus 241 onward to the Olberg stop near the hotel. On Saturdays, Bus VY170 goes to Sokna, where the convention offers a free shuttle to Sole Gjestegard. The hotel is easy to reach by car with free on-site parking. Contact the organizers in advance to coordinate shuttle pickups from Sokna or Hønefoss.
The convention is held at Sole Gjestegard (Krøderfjordveien 1610, 3536 Noresund), a traditional Norwegian lodge near the Norefjell ski resort. Rooms range from singles and doubles to 4- and 6-person shared rooms. The ticket price includes all meals (breakfast, packed lunch, dinner buffet, dessert, coffee, and tea) plus access to the heated indoor swimming pool. The lodge is the sole venue, so there are no overflow hotels nearby.
Anthros & Alpine 2026 ran January 29-February 1 at Sole Gjestegard near Norefjell. The first completed edition established the convention's winter-sports format with skiing, snowboarding, full-board lodge meals, afterski programming, karaoke, game lounge time, and shuttle support from nearby train stations.
