Phoenix Bark is NYC's biggest monthly furry bar event, bringing 100+ furries to Phoenix Bar in Manhattan's East Village. Part of the NYFurs ecosystem, it is free to attend and combines socializing with board games, darts, pool, and furry-themed drinks. No cover, no pretension, just a monthly furry night out.
Phoenix Bark is a social meet, not a dance event. The venue has board games, darts, pool, and an outdoor section. Furry-themed drinks are available at the bar. An AC and outdoor cool-down area is available for fursuiters.
The one-year anniversary night at Phoenix Bar, in October 2026, runs from 10 PM on Saturday, October 24 to 2:30 AM. Start times have moved around during 2026, from 9 PM to 10 PM, so check the event page before you head out. Fursuits are welcome but the venue is a bar, not a club. There is a 1 drink minimum at the bar, and it can be alcoholic or non-alcoholic. You get a free sticker with registration.
Entry is free, but you must register at events.nyfurs.org to attend. Show your registration QR code and a 21+ ID at the front to get in.

No. It is a social bar night with board games, darts, and drinks. Some people fursuit, most do not.
Monthly, but the weekday changes, so read the date off the NYFurs event page.
