Growl is New York City's furry club night, bringing the fandom's nightlife to Brooklyn. Run by a 5-person team led by co-organizers Aki and Mochee, Growl has held twelve editions since launching in 2023, migrating upward through Trans-Pecos in Ridgewood, Wonderville in Brooklyn, and, as of the July 2026 edition, 9 Bob Note inside the 3 Dollar Bill venue campus in Bushwick.
Growl is a straightforward furry club night at intimate Brooklyn venues. DJs play electronic, house, and techno across a 22:00 to 04:00 window. The atmosphere is inclusive and welcoming. Recent editions add live performances and vendors to the night alongside the DJ programming. The current home, 9 Bob Note at 270 Meserole Street, is the sister room of 3 Dollar Bill, one of Brooklyn's headline LGBTQ+ club venues. Growl's own code of conduct makes the night 21+. Each edition draws a mix of NYC locals and attendees from the broader tri-state area, making it a social anchor for the region's furry community.
The next Growl is on Friday, December 18, 2026, from 10 PM to 4 AM at 9 Bob Note. No ticket link or price is up for that night yet, so check the December event page before you go. For the July 2026 edition, tickets were sold through the 3 Dollar Bill venue portal at 3dollarbillbk.com at $20 early-bird and $25 general admission.
9 Bob Note / 3 Dollar Bill is at 260 to 270 Meserole Street in Bushwick, Brooklyn. The closest subway stops are Montrose Av (L) and Morgan Av (L). Previous-era venues: Trans-Pecos in Ridgewood (L train, Halsey Street) and Wonderville in Brooklyn (G train).
Growl started in 2023 and quickly became NYC's regular furry club night, with about a dozen editions behind it by mid-2026. Events have run themed editions including "Growl Wonderland", "Dog Days", "Winter Is Coming", "Pet Gala", and "Growlzilla". Earlier editions alternated between Trans-Pecos in Ridgewood and Wonderville in Brooklyn before the org's current residency at 9 Bob Note / 3 Dollar Bill in Bushwick.
Yes. Growl's code of conduct lists attempting to attend while under the age of 21 among the things the organizers will not tolerate.
Roughly quarterly, with twelve editions across the 2023-2026 window. Check growlfur.party and the @growlfur Instagram for the next scheduled date.
9 Bob Note is a single-room club venue without a dedicated fursuit lounge, so attendees arrive suited or change at home. Check with the organizers on Telegram or Instagram for specific edition logistics.
The ticket link for each edition is posted on growlfur.party and the org's social channels. The July 2026 edition sold through the 3 Dollar Bill venue portal, and the December 18, 2026 page has no ticket link yet.
