KemonoDays (ケモノデイズ) is a twice-yearly furry gathering in Osaka for fursuiters and other attendees. Its official site says its purpose is to bring kemono and people together, and lists January 16, 2027, as its fourth edition.
The event is a one-day community meet rather than a convention. Its published programme includes board games, an illustration area, photo sessions and merchandise. If this will be your first furry gathering, our first-con survival guide covers basic planning and etiquette.
The organizer's schedule lists check-in from 10:30, an opening at 11:30, merchandise sales from 12:30, a group photo at 16:00 and the event end at 20:30. The venue has separate general-attendee and fursuit-participant registration tracks.
The organizer asks attendees to get consent before touching or photographing a fursuiter. Unapproved photos or sudden hugs can lead to a warning or removal. Only registered fursuit participants may wear a suit or use the changing rooms.
The participation fee is ¥3,000 for either registration category, paid in cash on the event day. The organizer lists a 70-person cap for general attendance and a separate 110-person cap for fursuit participation, excluding staff.
Advance registration is required, and the organizer says there will be no walk-in places on the day. Register through the general-attendance TwiPla page or the fursuit-participation TwiPla page, then complete the Google Form supplied after registration within one day. As checked on September 15, 2026, the registration start date was still being adjusted and both TwiPla pages displayed participation closed. Check the official KemonoDays site for the latest registration status before making plans.
KemonoDays is scheduled at Osaka City Konohana Ward Hall (大阪市此花区民ホール), 〒554-0014 大阪府大阪市此花区四貫島1-1-18. The organizer and venue operator place Chidoribashi Station on the Hanshin Namba Line about two to three minutes away on foot. The organizer advises drivers to use nearby parking.
No. The organizer provides a separate general-attendance registration category for participants who will not wear a fursuit.
The organizer's public materials reviewed for the January 2027 edition do not state an age restriction. If an age policy affects your plans, confirm it with the organizer before registering.
No walk-in registration is planned. The organizer requires advance registration through the relevant TwiPla listing and a follow-up Google Form.
The fee is ¥3,000, payable in cash on the event day.
