The Karlsfurs Suitwalk is a free fursuit walk through central Karlsruhe, organized by the Karlsfurs community. It is one of Germany's longest-running city suitwalks, going since 2015, and it runs on a bimonthly rhythm through the year. Karlsfurs is the Oberrhein anchor of a wider Baden-Wuerttemberg furry-walk lattice that also includes the Esslinger Suitwalk near Stuttgart and the Heilbronn Fursuitwalk under the Weinberg-Furs umbrella. The group meets at the PASSAGEHOF car park, walks the city center, and wraps up with dinner at a local Wirtshaus. Non-suiters are explicitly welcome, whether in normal clothes or helping as photographers, and the walk itself is free.
The group gathers at noon on the top floor of the PASSAGEHOF car park, then departs at 13:00 for a walk through central Karlsruhe, returning around 15:00. The pace is relaxed and social, with photo stops and plenty of waving along the way. Recent walks have drawn roughly 150 to 215 people, so expect a lively crowd of suiters, spotters, and photographers. That puts it at the upper end of the German city-suitwalk size class, not a mass-attendance public event. From 16:00, attendees gather for dinner at Lehner's Wirtshaus on Karlstrasse 21A to round off the day.
The walk is free; there is no ticket. The group manages sign-ups through a custom, open-sourced registration bot, distributed via the @karlsfurs_bouncer_bot Telegram bouncer. Start a chat with that bot to request the invite link to the Karlsfurs chat, where each walk's registration link and meeting-point details are pinned. Meet at noon on the top floor of the PASSAGEHOF car park (Passagehof 11) so you are ready for the 13:00 departure.
The PASSAGEHOF car park at Passagehof 11 sits in central Karlsruhe and is easy to reach by tram and on foot from the city center. Head to the top floor to find the group. If you drive, the car park is the meeting point itself. Aim to arrive by noon ahead of the 13:00 start.
No. Non-suiters are explicitly welcome, whether you come in normal clothes or join as a photographer. The walk is open to anyone who wants to come along through central Karlsruhe.
Yes. The walk is free, with no ticket required. Dinner at Lehner's Wirtshaus from 16:00 would be your own expense.
The next walk is on 2026-10-17, following the 2026-05-30 spring edition; a further winter walk is scheduled for 2026-12-05. Meet at noon on the PASSAGEHOF top floor; the walk departs 13:00 and returns about 15:00. Start a chat with @karlsfurs_bouncer_bot on Telegram to request the invite link and register.
