Fang

Fang is a volunteer-run furry nightclub event in Madison, Wisconsin, held at the LGBTQ+ venue Crucible. It describes itself as Wisconsin's kink-friendly furry nightclub, an LGBTQ+ friendly space to dance, drink and meet people, and the door is strictly 21+. Nights come round about every three months, and the next Fang is on Saturday, January 23, 2027.

What to Expect

Doors open at 8:30pm and the party runs until 2am. Four DJ sets fill the night, with dancers performing on stage. The announced lineup for September 2026 was RuffHaus, DJ Roury B2B MixxMutt, Hey Syri and Steamie B2B Misfit. A food truck parked outside at the March and July 2026 nights, and the sets are streamed on Fang's Twitch channel.

Fursuits, street clothes and anything in between are welcome. There is a staffed fursuit changing and storage space, but space has become tight, and after the fire marshal closed the second lounge in September 2026 the organizers asked suiters to change and store totes in their cars where possible. The house rules ban fighting, outside alcohol and sexual activity, ask everyone to keep their private parts covered, and keep the stage for DJs, dancers and staff. Staff may search bags if they suspect someone has brought in prohibited items.

How to Get Tickets

Entry is a $15 cover at the door, paid in cash or by Venmo, and there is an ATM on site. You get a wristband that lets you leave and come back in through the main entrance. A limited batch of presale tickets goes on sale through Ticketleap a few weeks before each night, and presale holders can enter early at 8pm with their confirmation email and ID. The organizers stress that a sold-out presale does not mean the night itself is sold out.

Bring government photo ID, because Crucible's staff check it at the door. Dates, lineups and presale openings are announced on the Fang announcements channel and on fangevents.com.

How to Get There

Crucible is at 3116 Commercial Ave, Madison, WI 53714. Parking is limited because a lot of people arrive at once, and the large lot across the street has fewer spaces since its renovation. There is street parking in the surrounding blocks, so check the posted signs, and the organizers ask people to carpool, use rideshare or take public transport where they can.

Fang does not always arrange a hotel block. Most out-of-town attendees stay with local furries, and when there is no block the organizers point people to the hotels near the venue.
