The Boston Furry Picnic is a free, twice-yearly furry gathering on Boston Common, a relaxed afternoon on the grass to meet local furries, share food, and take photos. It's all-ages, costs nothing, and welcomes suiters and non-suiters alike.
The picnic runs roughly 11 AM to 4 PM on Boston Common. Attendees bring their own food and drinks and hang out casually on the grass to socialize and meet other locals. A group photo is organized around 1:30 PM. Fursuiting is optional. Because it's held in a busy public park, attendees are asked to respect the space and follow the posted Code of Conduct.
Just show up: the picnic is free and there's no registration. Dates and the exact meeting spot within the Common are announced closer to each event on the official site and the picnic's Telegram. The next edition is planned for September 2026.
Boston Common sits in the heart of downtown Boston and is well served by the MBTA (Park Street and Boylston stations are right on the Common). If you're driving, the Boston Common Garage (Zero Charles St) is directly beneath the park.
