VR JMoF 2027 | Online Furry Convention Guide

VR JMoF is an annual online furry convention organized by the JMoF Executive Committee, with a simultaneous in-person component at the JMoF venue. It began as a JMoF 2020 program and has been held as an independent convention since 2021. The organizers describe programming that connects its online spaces with the physical JMoF venue.

2027: VR JMoF

VR JMoF 2027 is listed for January 8-10 on VRChat, Resonite, and at the JMoF venue, held simultaneously online and in person. The physical JMoF venue for 2027 is Aichi Sky Expo in Tokoname. VR-specific registration, admission price, age policy, and detailed joining instructions have not been published on the official pages reviewed on September 15, 2026. The standalone VR JMoF site still shows its 2026 edition, so check the current JMoF Executive Committee page for 2027 updates.

Why Attend?

VR JMoF connects attendees across VR platforms while running alongside the in-person JMoF convention. The organizers describe it as an independent annual convention, rather than a program that requires attendance at the physical JMoF event.

What Are the Highlights of VR JMoF?

• Two VR platforms: the 2027 committee listing names VRChat and Resonite.
• Concurrent convention: VR JMoF shares its dates with JMoF and includes a simultaneous in-person component at the JMoF venue.
• A distinct event identity: it began as a JMoF program in 2020 and became an independent convention in 2021.

How Do I Get to VR JMoF?

For online participation, the 2027 joining instructions have not been announced. The official VR JMoF access page describes the 2026 edition only, so its steps should not be assumed to apply in 2027. The organizers list an in-person component at the JMoF venue; for its current location and travel information, see the official JMoF travel page.

Where Should I Stay for VR JMoF?

Online attendees do not need lodging. For anyone separately attending the concurrent JMoF venue in person, the organizers list Toyoko Inn Chubu International Airport No. 2 as JMoF 2027's official hotel, about 700 metres from Aichi Sky Expo. Hotel reservations are separate from JMoF registration; see the official room-reservation page for current terms.
