FILPAW is an online furry convention from the Philippines, held on the ZEP metaverse platform. Its team describes it as "The Philippines E-Convention Event for Furries", and each edition is a one-day gathering with talks, games, a vendor village and a talent stage, hosted by its mascots Andri and Lapu.
FILPAW has held two editions so far, in August 2025 and August 2026. Its closing post for 2026 promised attendees they would meet again on the next journey, but no date or theme for a 2027 edition has been announced yet. Follow FILPAW on X for the next sign-up form.
FILPAW lets furries anywhere in the Philippines join a convention from home, with no flight or ferry to Metro Manila. The programme leans local: talks by Filipino community members, a Guest of Honor from Baguio in 2026, and announcements written in a mix of English and Filipino. It is also an easy way to try a con for the first time, since there is no hotel to book and no travel to plan.
There is no travel involved: FILPAW takes place on ZEP, so you join online from home. For 2026, FILPAW posted a registration form on X in the weeks before the event, then shared the schedule and map a few days ahead. In 2025 the talks and the opening and closing ceremonies were also streamed on FILPAW's Facebook page for anyone without a ticket.
You do not need a hotel for FILPAW, since every part of the event happens online. Plan for a full day at your desk instead: the 2026 edition opened at 10am and ran talks, games and hangouts through the day. A stable internet connection helps during the busier sessions, and a headset makes the talks easier to follow.
