FurryGooo is a furry convention brand from Guangdong, China, that runs two residential hotel weekends a year. Its winter edition has been held in Guangzhou at the Crowne Plaza Guangzhou Huadu since the brand launched there in January 2024, and its summer edition has moved from Foshan (2024) to Shenzhen (2025 and 2026), most recently at the InterContinental Shenzhen WECC beside the Shenzhen World Exhibition and Convention Center in Bao'an District. The organizer announces each edition on Bilibili, the WeChat public account and mini-program, Douyin, and Rednote, which is where ticket sales, exhibitor lists and guest reveals appear first. The next announced edition is FurryGooo·2027, a three-day, two-night winter gathering in Guangzhou from December 31, 2026 to January 2, 2027; the organizer's September 4, 2026 post gives the city and dates and says the venue and ticket-sale time will follow. No 2027 summer edition has been announced yet.
FurryGooo gives southern China two chances a year at a hotel-format con, in two of the country's biggest and most connected cities. Shenzhen sits right on the border with Hong Kong and is a short high-speed-rail hop from Guangzhou, so either edition is easy to fold into a wider trip around the Pearl River Delta. Each edition takes its own theme and storyline: the 2026 summer edition ran four days and three nights as 秘境归航 (Return Voyage from the Secret Realm), with fursuit gatherings, an exhibitor and artist area, stage programming, a live band and DJ sets, and community socials.
By air: For the Shenzhen summer editions, Shenzhen Bao'an International Airport (SZX) is in the same Bao'an District as the venue, only a short taxi or ride-hail from the Shenzhen World Exhibition and Convention Center, making it one of the more convenient airport-to-con transfers of any mainland convention. For the Guangzhou winter editions, Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport (CAN) is in Huadu District, the same district as the Crowne Plaza Guangzhou Huadu.
By transit: Shenzhen Metro Line 20 and Line 12 serve the Shenzhen World area, and the wider metro network links the convention centre to central Shenzhen and the rail stations. Guangzhou and Hong Kong are both reachable by high-speed rail into Shenzhen.
By car: The Shenzhen venue is in the Fuhai area of Bao'an, near the Shenzhen World Exhibition and Convention Center. Ride-hailing apps are the simplest option for visitors without a local vehicle.
The summer edition takes place at the InterContinental Shenzhen WECC, the international-brand hotel attached to the Shenzhen World Exhibition and Convention Center, so the most convenient option is to book a room in the host hotel and stay where the programming happens. Hotel tickets are sold by the organizer through the WeChat mini-program, and in 2026 they sold out four days before the con opened.
Because Bao'an is the airport district, it is also a practical base if you are flying in and out around the convention weekend. Winter editions have used the Crowne Plaza Guangzhou Huadu, near Guangzhou Baiyun airport, on the same hotel-ticket model.

FurryGooo is also one of three co-organizers, with 海兽聚 SeaFur and 奇点兽聚, of 绒光记 (Furry Light), a joint event in Shanghai from May 1 to 4, 2027 at the Lingang Jinjiang International Hotel and Lingang Center. It runs under its own brand and is not counted as a FurryGooo edition here.

The 2026 summer edition ran August 7-10 at the InterContinental Shenzhen WECC, beside the Shenzhen World Exhibition and Convention Center in Bao'an District, as a four-day, three-night hotel weekend. Ticket sales had opened on April 25, and the organizer reported on August 3 that every hotel ticket had sold out. Earlier in the year the winter edition, 凛冬绒纪, ran January 30 to February 2 at the Crowne Plaza Guangzhou Huadu. The organizer has not published attendance, charity or guest figures for either edition anywhere we can confirm, so they are left TBA here.
FurryGooo's first Shenzhen edition ran July 11-14 across the two Hilton hotels at the Shenzhen World Exhibition and Convention Center, a month earlier than the August slot the organizer had first announced. The stage programme was invitation-only that year, and the weekend included a live band night, a random-dance session and gaming tournaments. The winter edition, 冬日集会, ran February 7-10 at the Crowne Plaza Guangzhou Huadu with a larger floor than the first edition and a reworked RPG activity. No attendance figures were published for either edition.
The brand's first summer edition ran August 9-12 at the Crowne Plaza Foshan Nanhai in Foshan, Guangdong, built around an immersive RPG storyline that ran through the weekend. FurryGooo had launched seven months earlier with 星河浮梦 (Starry River Dream), January 19 to 21 at the Crowne Plaza Guangzhou Huadu, a weekend of stage shows, a games night, random dancing, a dealer area and a night party that the organizer streamed on Bilibili. No attendance figures were published for either edition.
