Beat Leisure (得闲兽聚), which styles itself the "Yumcha Festival", is a furry convention in Foshan, China, held at the Foshan Marriott Hotel. Its organizer launched in October 2024, and it is one of a wave of young mainland-China hotel cons, running recurring seasonal editions with a full convention programme.
As with most mainland cons, the programming, guest reveals, and ticket tiers are announced through the organizer's Chinese channels (the yumcha-festival.com website, Bilibili, and Rednote) closer to the date. The 2026 edition is themed 像素奇旅 (Pixel Adventure).
Beat Leisure gives the Pearl River Delta its own hotel-format weekend without the travel to a larger city. It sits in Foshan, immediately west of Guangzhou, so it is easy to reach from one of the busiest travel corridors in southern China. The name 得闲 is Cantonese for "having free time", and the con leans into that relaxed yumcha (tea-gathering) theme: a four-day, three-night residential format built around booths, signing artists, and stage programming. It is the second furry gathering to call Foshan home, run by a different organizer and hotel than the city's other event, so regulars have more than one reason to visit.
By air: Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport (CAN) is the main gateway and sits north of the venue; Shenzhen Bao'an International Airport (SZX) is another option to the south-east. Both connect to Foshan by high-speed rail and expressway.
By transit: Foshan and Guangzhou share a linked metro network. The venue is in Guicheng, in Foshan's Nanhai District beside Qiandeng Lake, which is served by the metro; from central Guangzhou, allow extra time for the cross-city ride or take a taxi.
By car: The hotel is on Haiba East Road (海八东路) in the Guicheng area of Nanhai District, close to the Qiandeng Lake financial district. Ride-hailing apps are the simplest option for visitors without a local vehicle.

Beat Leisure takes place at the Foshan Marriott Hotel, an international-brand hotel beside Qiandeng Lake, so the most convenient option is to book a room in the host hotel itself and stay where the programming happens. Rooms typically open through the convention's room block as well as the usual hotel-booking platforms.
Because Nanhai sits between Guangzhou and central Foshan, it is also a practical base for anyone combining the con with a wider Pearl River Delta trip.
