FurGIV (Furry Gathering in Vietnam) is Hanoi's furry convention, first held in September 2024. Its 2026 edition runs as a single day at the Grand Vista Hotel under the school-themed "Pawful of Chalk," with comic and webtoon artist Chucky as guest of honor.
FurGIV returns on September 19, 2026 at the Grand Vista Hotel in Hanoi's Giảng Võ area, a move up from the 2024 debut venue, under the theme "Pawful of Chalk" (Vietnamese: "Phấn Vạn Lông"), a back-to-school motif inviting attendees to relive their student years. The 2026 guest of honor is Chucky, a freelance artist who specializes in comics and webtoons.

FurGIV is northern Vietnam's home convention, the Hanoi counterpart to Ho Chi Minh City's FUVE, and it builds each edition around a strong, playful theme, for 2026, a whole-con school day. The whole ladder is published as ARTWORK - five tier cards whose files are named tier201 to tier205 with no price anywhere in the text or the filenames, so the site reads as though it lists no prices at all. The figures above were read off the cards. Tier 5 is marked LIMITED on its own card and is priced far above the rest because it includes two nights of hotel; the jump from 50 to 289 is lodging, not perks. Tickets went on sale in two waves, 21 June and 12 July, and the registration portal needs an account before it shows anything. Minimum age to buy or attend is 16.
By air: Hanoi is served by Noi Bai International Airport (HAN), roughly 45 minutes from the city center by taxi or ride-hailing app.
By road: The Grand Vista Hotel sits on Giảng Võ, a central Hanoi street well connected to the rest of the city; taxis and ride-hailing apps are the simplest way in.
