The Wrocławski Furwalk is one of Poland's largest fursuit events. Each September, around a thousand fursuiters and supporters parade through central Wrocław, drawing crowds along the route. Since 2024 the walk has been bundled with Wroof!, a one-day mini-convention of panels, dealers, and an evening party. The walk itself is free, all-ages, and open to spectators; the Wroof! programming is ticketed.
The day combines a public fursuitwalk through Wrocław with the Wroof! convention at a single host venue (Czasoprzestrzeń in 2026, Concordia Design in 2025, Wyspa Tamka in 2024). Expect panels, workshops, a Dealer's Den of Polish furry artists, a fursuit lounge open from morning to night, an evening DJ party, and ground games using wooden tokens handed out with each ID. The procession itself is the centrepiece, and fursuiters leave the host venue together around midday, parade through central Wrocław, and return to the venue for the rest of the programme. Volunteer helpers manage water, route safety, and the changing room.
The fursuitwalk through the city is free and open to everyone, including fursuiters, photographers, handlers, and spectators alike. To join the Wroof! programming on the host grounds (panels, Dealer's Den, evening party, fursuit lounge), buy a ticket on wroof.info: 15 PLN for a basic wejściówka with a paper wristband, 25 PLN for a personalised plastic identyfikator with a lanyard, or 50 PLN for the sponsor-tier acrylic identyfikator with a parallax effect. Without a ticket you can still join the walk once the procession leaves the host venue.
In 2026 the host venue is Czasoprzestrzeń at Tramwajowa 1-3, near Hala Stulecia and the Wrocław ZOO. From Wrocław Główny main station the easiest connections are trams 2 or 4 and buses 145 or 146; lines 1, 10, and 19 also reach the area. The organisers explicitly do not recommend driving, since there is no parking on site and the closest large lots are at Pasaż Grunwaldzki and around Hala Stulecia. Venue changes each year, so always check wroof.info or t.me/walkWroc for the current edition.
The walk started in 2020 with a single fursuiter and grew quickly. The 2023 edition was the last single-day walk-only format. From 2024 onward the walk has been bundled with Wroof! as a same-day mini-con: 2024 ran two days (28-29 September) on Wyspa Tamka; 2025 returned to a single day on 19 September with the venue moved to Concordia Design; 2026 moves again to Czasoprzestrzeń on 19 September. Around 1,150 numbered IDs were issued for the 2025 edition. Through the Telegram channel t.me/walkWroc the organisers also handed out unclaimed 2023 identifiers to attendees at Gdakon 2024, illustrating an active working relationship with Poland's largest furry convention.
