Warszawski Fursuit Walk
The Warszawski Fursuit Walk (WFW) is one of the largest fursuit walks in Europe. Each June, well over a thousand fursuiters and supporters march a loop through central Warsaw, drawing crowds of curious onlookers along the way. It is free, all-ages, and open to spectators as well as suiters, so you can come to walk, handle, photograph, or just watch.
What to Expect
The walk covers a roughly 1.8 km loop through the heart of Warsaw over about two hours, starting late morning. Volunteer marshals in vests manage road safety and crossings, and water is handed out along the route (over half a tonne in 2025). Numbered souvenir identifiers are issued to registered participants. An optional adults-only after-party, the Kopytny Afterek, follows in the evening at a pub.
How to Join
The walk is free. Registration is handled through a Telegram bot on the official WFW channel, where the meeting point, start time, and route are announced each year. Spectators are welcome without registering. The next walk is confirmed for 6 June 2026.
How to Get There
The walk starts near the University of Warsaw on Krakowskie Przedmieście in the city center and loops through the Saxon Garden (Ogród Saski). The area is well served by Warsaw's trams, buses, and metro, with Centrum and Świętokrzyska metro stations within walking distance.
Edition History
The first walk took off in 2020 from Zygmunt's Column with a single fursuiter, and it has grown into one of Europe's biggest fursuit walks. The 2025 edition on 14 June drew an estimated 1,500 to 1,800 people per police figures.
