Misono-kai (みその会) is a fursuit stroll and photo meet in Hanashima Park in Hanamigawa, Chiba. Its organizer, みそしる! (Misoshiru), is a photographer and fursuiter, and the day centres on fursuit owners exploring the park with attendants who take their photos.
Misono-kai 9 is on Sunday, November 22, 2026. There are 40 places, and the organizer adds more by adjusting rooms if it fills up.
Arrive from 09:30 and register in Training Room 2 of Hanashima Community Center, where you get a park map and a name tag. After registration, fursuiters change and the group spreads out around the park. Each fursuiter goes outside with an attendant, one attendant for one or two characters, and characters who cannot speak must stay with their attendant. Families are common at weekends, so agree with your attendant beforehand how far to engage with children and photos.
Any camera is fine, from a phone to a full camera kit. Do not get in the way of other park users, take care not to catch them in your photos, and take photos indoors only in the rented rooms. The organizer sets up a tatami room for relaxing and a white or black backdrop for portraits. Training Room 2 is a no-shoes room, so fursuiters should bring sandals. Lunch is up to you, with restaurants and a convenience store within walking distance, and you may leave whenever you like; packing up starts around 19:00 to 20:00.
Sign up on the Misono-kai 9 TwiPla listing. The fee is 2,000 yen with a fursuit and 1,500 yen without, paid in cash on the day. The deadline is November 15, 2026; after that the fee is 500 yen higher. People without a fursuit act as attendants and photographers.
Hanashima Community Center is at 308 Hanashima-cho, Hanamigawa-ku, Chiba 262-0042, inside Hanashima Park. The organizer notes that the Chiba Seaside Bus route from JR Kaihin-Makuhari Station no longer runs, and only the JR Makuhari Station route remains. Other options are the Keisei Bus from Keisei Yachiyodai Station to Hanamigawa Koban and a 10-minute walk, or a taxi from Yachiyodai for about 1,500 yen. Parking costs about 400 yen a day, with a 200 yen discount if you give your car number to the facility.
Misono-kai 9 is on Sunday, November 22, 2026, from 09:30.
No. The meet is aimed at fursuit owners, but people without one join as attendants and photographers for 1,500 yen.
Ask before a hug or any contact, and avoid excessive contact unless both of you have agreed to it beforehand.
