Kemono-en (けものエン) is a one-day fursuit meet in Hamamatsu, Shizuoka. The tagline plays on 縁 (en, bonds) and 楽園 (rakuen, paradise): a kemono paradise where everyone gathers to deepen their bonds. The organizer points out that Hamamatsu sits between Tokyo and Osaka, about 90 minutes by Hikari shinkansen from either.
Kemono-en 3 is on Saturday, February 6, 2027, at the Hamamatsu Welfare Exchange Center. This edition adds the first-floor atrium and the outdoor Keyaki Hiroba to the fourth-floor hall used before.
Reception opens at 11:30 in the fourth-floor small hall, and the opening ceremony is at 12:30. A game programme starts at 14:00 and a stage programme at 16:00. The group photo is taken at 18:00 in the first-floor Kokan no Hiroba, and the closing ceremony is at 19:30.
Characters run the reception desk themselves. Each fursuiter who goes to the outdoor Keyaki Hiroba needs one human attendant, and music is not allowed in the first-floor atrium. Other people use the building too, so please be considerate of them. Each person may bring one fursuit, and changing rooms are free with a fursuit ticket.
Registration is on Ivesapo, linked from the official Kemono-en 3 page. Pick one entry ticket: a standard ticket at 3,500 yen (80 places) or a volunteer ticket at 2,000 yen (20 places), which asks for two one-hour shifts. Fursuiters also add a free men's (60 places) or women's (10 places) changing room ticket. Payment is in cash at reception on the day, and you must answer a short form after registering.
The Hamamatsu Welfare Exchange Center is at 140-8 Narukocho, Chuo-ku, Hamamatsu 432-8035, about 10 minutes on foot from JR Hamamatsu Station. By car, leave the Tomei Expressway at Hamamatsu IC and follow Route 152 toward Hamamatsu Station, then turn onto Prefectural Road 65 at the station's north crossing; the center is at the Narukocho crossing. The center's car park is across the road to the north, at 100 yen per 30 minutes and up to 400 yen for facility users.
