Frolic is the longest-running furry club night in the world. Founded March 13, 2010, by NeonBunny and Skibit, it has run continuously across a string of San Francisco venues: The Stud, The Eagle, The Foundry, The Great Northern, and now Oasis. It is the event that started the US furry nightlife scene. TAIL!, Roar, LOVEBITE, and dozens of other events across the country trace their inspiration directly back to Frolic.

What to Expect

Frolic is a club night with DJs, dancing, and a vendor row inside the venue. For the October 24, 2026 night, doors open at 8:30 PM, the main room opens at 10 PM, and the night ends at 2 AM. The music is described as Modern Electronic Dance Music. Co-founder Skibit runs the visuals and projections every edition. Fursuiters historically get a discounted $15 cover.

Frolic operates on a NOTAFLOF (No One Turned Away For Lack Of Funds) policy with a hard mechanism: email [email protected] by noon on the day of Frolic and you will be added to the door list for that night. This policy has been in place since the event's founding.

The 2026 format includes a mini dealer's den inside the venue. Vendors at the August 2026 edition were Interspecies ANML, Tisc Chilly, Kink Kandi, and Your Pal Pawbs; Interspecies ANML and Tisc Chilly are listed for October.

Check frolicparty.com for current pricing and details. The next Frolic is on Saturday, October 24, 2026 at Oasis. No cover price is posted for that night yet, so check the front page before you go. Each edition goes up on the front page a few weeks ahead. No pre-registration is typically required; pay at the door.

How to Get There

Oasis is at 298 11th St, San Francisco, CA 94103, in the SoMa neighborhood. Frolic announced the October night at a different venue while it settles its future dates, so check frolicparty.com for the venue of each edition. Earlier 2026 nights were at The Foundry (June) and The Great Northern (August). Street parking in SoMa is limited; rideshare is recommended.
