Did You Know?

  • *FetchNW explicitly serves the "furry, pup, kink and dance" communities, its Party Bill of Rights leads with consent and references the "Consent is like Tea" video.
  • *In Heat is a boat party on The Hiyu, boarding at 5pm sharp on Lake Union, casting off at 6pm, docking at 10pm.
  • *Each themed edition rotates venue: Vortex at The Crocodile (Belltown), Neon Nights at Mirra (Bellevue), Love Bites at The Rendezvous, In Heat on The Hiyu.

FetchNW

FetchNW is Seattle's premier furry + pup + kink dance event series. Founded in 2022, it runs four to six themed editions per year, rotating across the city's best music venues, and once a year onto a boat. Each edition has its own name, season, and venue, and the leather/pup-play axis is core to the brand rather than a side-room.

What to Expect

Each FetchNW edition is named, themed, and venue-specific:

  • Love Bites (February, The Rendezvous): intimate Valentine room in Belltown
  • Neon Nights (March, Mirra in Bellevue): UV-and-glow theme with massive AV setup at the Lincoln Square nightclub; 9:30pm doors, DJ sets 10pm to 2am
  • In Heat (May or July, The Hiyu): summer boat party on Lake Union; boarding 5pm sharp, sails 6pm to 10pm
  • Vortex (August, The Crocodile): headliner electronic night at the 700+ cap Belltown music venue
  • Frostbite Weekend (December): four-day city-wide stack across five venues

The dress code is consent-led and gear-friendly: fursuits, puppy hoods, harnesses, shiny creatures and other gear are explicitly welcome; exposed butts and genitals are not. The Party Bill of Rights on fetchnw.com leads with "CONSENT IS EVERYTHING" and is worth reading before your first night.

How to Get Tickets

Tickets are sold per edition through Shotgun or Eventbrite. Sale dates are announced first on the FetchNW homepage, X account, and Telegram channel; for example, In Heat 2026 went on sale June 1 at 7pm. The 2026 ticket structure on In Heat is $94.80 General Admission or $177.75 Golden Paw (after fees); Golden Paw adds priority boarding, a fancier badge, a lanyard, a poster and a free patch.

FetchNW is strictly 21+ at every venue, and valid government photo ID is required at the door.

How to Get There

Venues are spread across the Seattle metro:

  • The Crocodile (Belltown, 2200 2nd Ave): a short walk from the Westlake Link Light Rail station
  • The Rendezvous (Belltown, 2322 2nd Ave): same walking radius as The Crocodile
  • Mirra (Bellevue, Lincoln Square 3rd Floor): easiest by car or rideshare; free parking in the mall's underground garage
  • The Hiyu (S. Lake Union waterfront): board at the dock 5pm sharp; rideshare drop-off recommended
  • Frostbite Weekend spreads across Capitol Hill (The Cuff), Belltown (The Crocodile), and SoDo/Vulpine Taproom, so assume rideshare between venues

Edition History

2025-2026 ticketed flagships: Love Bites (Feb 22, 2025 at The Rendezvous), Neon Nights (Mar 11, 2025 at Mirra), In Heat (May 2025 on The Hiyu), Vortex (Aug 7, 2025 at The Crocodile), Frostbite Weekend (Dec 11-14, 2025), Neon Nights (Mar 21, 2026 at Mirra), In Heat (Jul 11, 2026 on The Hiyu).

Frostbite Weekend 2025 was the format expansion, a four-day, five-venue city-wide stack built around Vortex at The Crocodile as the one ticketed anchor. Partner-org-run free side events included Slumberyard (a Pawprint Pack PJ party at Lumberyard Bar), Brain Freeze (a craft market with Slightly Furry Beverage Co.), an Urban Animal Coffee pop-up, the SEA-PAH Holiday Mosh at The Cuff Complex on Capitol Hill, and Whisker Wonderland at Vulpine Taproom. The Cuff appearance, at a long-running Seattle leather/bear bar, reads the kink axis as a structural part of the brand, not a side-room.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is FetchNW 21+?

Yes, strictly 21+ at every venue. Valid government photo ID is required at the door, including for In Heat on The Hiyu.

How often does FetchNW happen?

Roughly four to six ticketed editions per year (Love Bites Feb, Neon Nights Mar, In Heat May or July on the Hiyu, Vortex Aug, Frostbite Weekend Dec). The series is themed and named per edition rather than running a fixed monthly cadence, and Frostbite Weekend in December also stacks free partner-org side events into a multi-night city-wide format.

Can I attend in fursuit or gear?

Yes. Fursuits, puppy hoods, harnesses, and other gear are explicitly welcome. The dress code is "please come as you are, but no exposed butts or genitals." Fursuit changing rooms are available at the larger venues (The Crocodile in particular).

Is FetchNW affiliated with Anthro Northwest convention?

No. Both are Seattle-area furry orgs but neither cross-promotes the other on its public site. FetchNW runs year-round club nights; Anthro Northwest runs an annual convention at the Hyatt Regency Seattle. They share the metro and the regional scene, nothing more.

What's the deal with The Hiyu?

The Hiyu is a Seattle boat that departs from a S. Lake Union waterfront dock. For In Heat, boarding starts at 5pm sharp and the boat casts off at 6pm. Once it's gone, it's gone. The four-hour sail returns to dock at 10pm. The boat has an outdoor deck with a beer-and-cider cart, two indoor bar lounges, a food truck (Vulpine Taproom), a full sound system and lighting rig, and an EMT on board.
