Trick or Meat is a yearly Halloween costume dinner for furries in Bellevue, Washington. The Ties & Tails Club hosts it at Fogo de Chão, an all-you-can-eat Brazilian steakhouse, and guests come in fursuits, masks, ears, tails and Halloween costumes. The first Trick or Meat was in 2018, and the eighth edition ran on Saturday, October 24, 2026. The 2027 date has not been announced yet.

What to Expect

The evening starts at 4:30 pm with drinks, check-in and mingling, and dinner starts at 5 pm sharp. Fogo de Chão is an all-you-can-eat Brazilian barbecue restaurant with fine cuts of meat, a fresh market table and a salad bar, plus vegetarian and vegan options. Guests can order allergy-safe dishes when they buy their ticket. A costume contest awards prizes for the best costumes and outfits. The club asks guests to come in costume or in business casual clothes, and fursuit heads are welcome.

How to Get Tickets

Advance tickets are the only way in; they are sold through the Ties & Tails Club shop and the FurLife Meetup listing. The 2026 ticket cost USD 109 and covered the full dinner, the salad bar, unlimited fountain drinks, coffee and tea, one dessert, tax and tip, a champagne toast for guests 21 and over, and one year of club membership. Other alcohol and specialty drinks were not included. Sales closed one week before the dinner, because the club confirms its group booking with the restaurant. Groupons cannot be used for the group booking. Card and Zelle payments go through the shop; to pay by PayPal or cash, contact the host on Telegram or at the club's weekly meet.

How to Get There

Fogo de Chão Bellevue is at 440 Bellevue Way NE, in Lincoln Square South. The club says weekend parking in the Lincoln Square South lot off 105th is usually free, the restaurant validates parking, and buses stop nearby.
