Exeterfurs is a monthly furry meet in Exeter, Devon. It was founded by two local furries, and the organizers say it has grown from a small meet-up into a main meet in the south west of England. Each meet begins at Northernhay Gardens in the city centre, then moves to Exeter Community Centre for the afternoon. Saturday, November 14, 2026 is the next meet day, from 11:00 to 16:00.
The day starts at 11:00 by the War Memorial in Northernhay Gardens, so newcomers can find the group easily. The organizers ask you not to confuse it with the Stafford Henry Northcote statue on the other side of the gardens. At about 11:45 everyone walks to Exeter Community Centre, arriving around 12:00. The monthly photoshoot is at 13:30, and the fursuit walk follows straight after at about 13:45. The group is back at the venue around 15:00 to relax and pack up, and the meet ends at 16:00.
The organizers try to make each meet different. Activities vary by month and have included inflatables, ball pits, board games, art supplies, darts and mini pool tables. Twice a year there is a party weekend with DJs and a late bar, and the next one is planned for March 2027.
The code of conduct asks for sensible behaviour in public, bans weapons and NSFW wear, and requires props to be clearly identified. Sales at the meet need permission from the admins.
The organizers publish no ticket or fee for the regular monthly meet. The party weekends are ticketed and work differently, so read the party information page before one of those.
Exeterfurs is 18+ only and runs Challenge 25, so bring a passport, driving licence or other valid photo ID if you look under 25.
Exeter Community Centre is at 17 St David's Hill, Exeter EX4 3RG, and the meets usually use the Ballroom on the second floor. The closest railway station is Exeter Central; leave by the western exit and turn left twice to reach Northernhay Gardens. From Exeter St Davids the walk is long and uphill, so the organizers suggest bus H or K to Central Station and Northernhay. Drivers can use city centre car parks such as John Lewis, Princesshay and Northernhay Street, or the Honiton Road, Sowton and Matford park and ride sites.
