Doncaster Furs

Doncaster Furs is a community of furries, fursuiters and artists in Doncaster and the surrounding area, and it holds a main meet once a month on a Sunday. The meets take place at Vibe Doncaster, a cocktail bar and lounge on Bradford Row in the town centre. Sunday, November 8, 2026 is the next meet, from 12:00 to 17:00, and it hosts Battle of the Beats, a freestyle dance-off.

What to Expect

A main meet is an afternoon in the bar with other furries, and many meets have a theme or a contest. The October 2026 meet had a Halloween costume contest for both fursuiters and people out of suit. At Battle of the Beats on November 8, eight dancers face each other in one-on-one knockout rounds until one champion is left. The December meet is a Christmas Party that runs longer, from 14:00 to 23:00.

The meet has a fursuit lounge where people change, and photos, video and live streams are not allowed inside it. You may only eat and drink what you buy from the venue, apart from bottled water or food for a dietary need. Fetish and kink gear is not allowed, although collars without leashes are fine. Nerf blasters are allowed when unloaded and clearly marked, airsoft guns are not, and any prop weapon must be shown to staff first.

How to Get Tickets

The organizers list no ticket price for the regular main meets. Each meet has its own page on the Doncaster Furs site with an RSVP button, and the group asks for donations through its Ko-fi page to cover running costs. Drinks and food come from the bar at your own cost.

Doncaster Furs meets are strictly 18+, and the rules say anyone under 18 who attends is banned from the group's online spaces until they turn 18.

A rail page on the Doncaster Furs site lists the train operators that serve Doncaster station, with direct routes from Leeds, Sheffield, York, Hull, Manchester and London Kings Cross, and notes that East Midlands Railway runs no Sunday service. For drivers, the site lists nearby car parks, including the Markets Car Park, St Georges Car Park on Church Street and the Frenchgate multi-storey on Grey Friars' Road.
