BASSM8S Dance is the flagship event of BASSM8S e.V., a registered German furry-DJ-collective nonprofit. Held at the Alte Reithalle in Soltau, a former imperial cavalry riding school, the event pairs bass-heavy electronic sets with an all-you-can-drink flatrate. Vol. 1 launched 05.04.2025; Vol. 2 lands 18.04.2026, doors 17:00 to 03:00.
Doors open 17:00, last call 02:00, lights up 03:00. The Alte Reithalle is a converted industrial hall with the original cavalry-school bones still visible. The ticket covers an unlimited bar (soft drinks, house cocktails, beer, wine, longdrinks); outside alcohol is barred under § 6 of the German Gaststättengesetz, and the team cites the law verbatim. There is no food on-site, but Soltau's town centre is a short walk for snacks.
The lineup runs multiple residents from the BASSM8S roster end-to-end. Vol. 2 opened with Nimilex into Netis into Yellowstreak, with Pako and Delta on the late sets and an open-decks b2b2b finale before the bar closed. The collective also livestreams selected sets on twitch.tv/bassm8s and runs an on-site photo box for souvenir shots. A fursuit lounge sits off the main floor.
Cannabis use is banned on grounds because of an adjacent playground; smoking is OK away from the entrance.
Registration for Vol. 2 opens 30 January 2026 via bassm8s.com. The ladder is two-step:
Bring physical photo ID. Digital ID and passport screenshots are explicitly rejected at the door per the team's Vol. 2 reminder.
Alte Reithalle, Winsener Straße 34, 29614 Soltau, Germany. Soltau is in Lower Saxony, roughly 70 km south of Hamburg and 85 km north of Hanover. Take a regional train from either city to Soltau station, which is walking distance from the venue, or drive via the A7 motorway. Hanover Airport is the closest air gateway at about 80 km.
Free parking sits at the venue, and overnighting in your car is allowed, but parking-lot parties are not. The site has no EV charging; the nearest chargers are in town.
Yes, strictly 18+. Physical photo ID is required at the door; digital ID is not accepted.
Entry plus an all-you-can-drink flatrate covering soft drinks, house cocktails, beer, wine, and longdrinks. There is no food included.
No. Outside alcohol is prohibited under § 6 of the German Gaststättengesetz, and the bar card on-site covers everything the flatrate includes.
Bass-heavy electronic genres: bass, house, techno, and crossover electronic. The BASSM8S roster is a DJ collective, so the lineup runs deep across the night with residents trading sets.
