AROO!

AROO!, short for Anthro Ravers of Orlando, is an 18+ furry rave in Orlando, Florida, that mixes furry DJs, live acts and local fandom vendors in one night. It runs a few standalone shows a year, most recently at The Exchange Dance Academy on Chancery Lane, and it also takes over stages and party floors at conventions in Florida and Georgia. The July 18, 2026 show sold out three weeks ahead.

What to Expect

An AROO! show is a long night of loud music, with each act given a set and an MC, Romeo Rabbit, keeping things moving. The genres range widely: house, techno, drum and bass, hyperpop, Jersey club and UK garage have all featured, and the early shows mixed in live bands. Most shows also have a small vendor area with local furry artists selling prints, stickers and fursuit accessories, plus AROO! merchandise.

The organizers' manifesto describes AROO! as a space where marginalized people can party safely, naming queer people, people of color, and poor and disabled people. There are firm house rules. No drugs or alcohol are allowed inside, and water bottles must be clear and empty at the door, with free water inside. Vaping, glitter, confetti, bubbles and pyrotechnics are banned, and bags can be searched. Fursuits and other costumes are welcome, but the room gets very warm, so the organizers recommend partials or anything that vents heat.

How to Get Tickets

Tickets for each show go on sale online, announced on the AROO! Telegram channel and the official site. Prices have changed from show to show: $10 at the first show in 2023, and $20 early bird or $25 general admission in July 2026. Recent shows sell their full capacity online, and when they sell out there are no door tickets, so buy early.

The organizer's directions page puts AROO! at 7409 Chancery Ln in Orlando, the new home of The Exchange Dance Academy, which hosted the 2024, 2025 and 2026 shows. Parking is in the lots behind AMF Sky Lanes; do not park in the small lot directly in front of the venue. The venue has changed before, so check each show's announcement for the address.
