Howl-O-Plex

Howl-O-Plex is an annual furry Halloween party in Orlando, Florida, run by Florida United Furry Fandom, the nonprofit behind the Megaplex convention. It is one evening of costumes, dancing and a vendor market, open to adults 18 and over. The 2026 edition, Tails of Terror II: The Hunt, was scheduled for Saturday, October 24, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 1:00 AM at the Canvas Event Venue next to the Florida Mall.

What to Expect

The 2026 night starts at 5:00 PM with the Harvest Market, a vendor area that stays open through the dance. The dance begins at 8:00 PM and runs until 1:00 AM, and in 2025 it had a five-DJ lineup and a costume contest. For 2026 the organizers planned local food trucks, and there are cash bars for guests aged 21 and over.

Suiters can change and cool down in a dedicated headless lounge. Howl-O-Plex also keeps a Furry Ofrenda for Día de los Muertos: you can bring photos or small items to remember people you have lost, as long as you are fine with not getting them back. Attendees must follow the Howl-O-Plex code of conduct, linked from the event page.

How to Get Tickets

Registration is on the official Howl-O-Plex page. For 2026, pre-registration costs $45 per person up to the day of the event, and registration at the door costs $50. The $40 early bird rate has ended. Attendees have to be 18 or older at the start of the event.

Artists and vendors can apply for a Harvest Market table for $25, plus event registration for each person working the table. Tables are awarded on a rolling basis until they run out.

How to Get There

The Canvas Event Venue is at 1401 Florida Mall Ave, Orlando, FL 32809, just outside the Florida Mall. There is limited ADA parking at the venue, and more parking across the street at the Florida Mall.

For 2026 the organizers held a room block at The Florida Hotel, 1500 Sand Lake Road, about 0.6 miles from the venue. That group rate closed on October 10, 2026, so book directly with the hotel or nearby if you still need a room.
