SillyCon, written ТупиКон (TupiKon) by its organizers, is an invitation-only, 18+ residential furry convention held each September, since 2024 at the Izumrud recreation base in Zhukovsky District, Kaluga Oblast, Russia. You can only register with a single-use promo code sent by someone who already has an approved place. In 2024, 2025 and 2026 every place was taken within two days of registration opening.
SillyCon is a closed event, and the organizers say so plainly: you need a registration and a promo code, and there is no way to talk your way in at the gate. Each code is unique, works once, and is valid only for that year's convention. Codes are sent by approved participants to people they want to see there, and new codes are credited to a participant's profile from time to time after approval. The organizers decide how many codes each participant gets, based on how that person has behaved and contributed to the convention.
If nobody has sent you a code, you can still register without one. That makes you an applicant on a waiting list, with your nickname, an optional Telegram link and a short message that approved participants can read. Any of them with a spare code can invite you from that list, but the organizers state that being on it does not guarantee a code. Newcomers are welcome once they have a code, and the FAQ says the organizers are always glad to see new faces.
Every registration, with or without a code, is then approved by hand. The organizers ask for a nickname that lets them recognise you, say that suspicious applicants they do not know will not be approved, and reserve the right to refuse anyone. Whoever invites you is responsible for you, and codes may not be sold, raffled or traded.
The convention is strictly 18+: you must be 18 by the first day, documents may be checked at arrival, and no exception is made for anyone travelling with a parent or guardian. All organizer communication, the website and the registration system are in Russian.
The 2027 dates have not been announced. The most recent edition, Пляжный эпизод (Beach Episode), ran from September 10 to 13, 2026 with a beach and lagoon theme. The 2026 dates were published in November 2025, and the places for that edition were all taken within a day of sign-ups starting.
For 2026 the price depended on the arrival day: 25,000 RUB from Thursday, 19,500 RUB from Friday and 14,500 RUB from Saturday. Every package included a room, meals and drinks, all events and a set of themed souvenirs. A deposit of at least 3,000 RUB by June 5 secured the room, and the full amount was due by August 5. Payment is by card in your profile on the website, or by arrangement with the organizers.
SillyCon suits people who already know someone with a place, because every invitation comes from a participant. It runs from Thursday to Sunday at a countryside recreation base, and the organizers describe it as the convention they run the way they like it themselves. Each year has its own world with a cast of mascots, from a Viking amusement park in 2024 to a construction site in 2025 and a beach resort in 2026, and a team of artists credited by name dresses the grounds with banners, flags and posters to match. The days mix board games, master classes, sports and quests, and the evenings move between discos and quiet gatherings around a campfire. Meals, drinks and a room are all in the price, and the organizers run their own bar. If you do not yet know anyone with a code, this is not a convention you can plan a trip around. Start by getting to know the community and following the news channel, and treat a place as something that may come later.
The Izumrud recreation base is in Zhukovsky District of Kaluga Oblast, southwest of Moscow. This is not the town of Zhukovsky near Moscow, which is in Moscow Oblast. The organizers publish no street address, only the GPS point 54.930520, 36.872838.
By car, the organizers suggest the Kievskoye, Varshavskoye or Kaluzhskoye highway to Obninsk and then on through Zhukov to the base. The alternative is the Simferopolskoye highway to Serpukhov and on through Kremyonki. There is parking in front of the gates.
By public transport, take a suburban train from Kiyevsky station in Moscow to Obninskoye (Obninsk), then a minibus towards Kremyonki to the Shchiglevo / Kosmos stop. The organizers also run their own bus, the Tupibus, from Moscow to the convention on Thursday and back on Sunday; participants book it in their profile. In 2026 it left from Rumyantsevo metro at 12:30, and in 2025 a return ticket cost 1,500 RUB.

You stay on site, because a room is part of every package. The base has six two-storey cottages, each colour-coded and named for the year's theme, and every floor has twelve double rooms grouped in pairs that share a hallway and bathroom. All rooms are twins, and the organizers reserve the right to move anyone left on their own into another room. Agree with a friend in advance who you will share with, then pick your room together in your profile.
Five of the six cottages are quiet by default, and noisy parties there need the agreement of everyone living in the house. The sixth, the pink cottage, has an atmosphere of its own that the organizers say is hard to describe in words, and it still has a quiet period. Each cottage has a water cooler and a small kitchen with a fridge, microwave and kettle, and the organizers provide tea and coffee. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served in a separate canteen, and if you need a special diet the organizers ask you to contact them in advance. Pets are not allowed. If you cannot come, write to the organizers as early as you can, as places cannot be sold or handed to a friend.

An inviter answers for their guest
The FAQ warns that anyone who registers with your promo code becomes your responsibility, and that if they break the rules the organizers will come to you as well. The FAQ also asks participants not to sell, raffle or trade codes.
Wi-Fi yes, phone signal no
The FAQ says Wi-Fi covers most of the grounds but mobile signal is almost absent. Plan any calls and downloads before you arrive, and use the participant chat to find travel companions.
