Furrest Con (Фурест Кон) is a small furry convention in Kyiv, Ukraine. Running even through the war, it gathers the local fandom for a daytime weekend at a hotel with its own grounds, complete with a guest of honor, an artist alley, and outdoor programming. In 2026 that hotel stood in Muromets Park, the large wooded park on the Dnipro's left bank.
The 2026 edition used a standard ticket of 3,000 UAH, single-day guest tickets from 850 to 1,200 UAH, and sponsor tiers at 6,000 and 8,000 UAH. Uncle Kage appeared as guest of honor, and the convention's mascot is a deer named Oliver, introduced in 2025.
Furrest Con shows that the Ukrainian fandom has kept gathering through the war. It is a small convention built around a pool, a beach, campfire-style socials, lectures, a game zone, and outdoor games rather than a large expo. The 2026 edition booked Anthrocon's Uncle Kage as guest of honor, a notable draw for an event its size. Attending also supports the war effort: setting up in the artist alley requires a donation to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. By rail: Ukraine's railways remain the backbone of wartime travel, with Kyiv as the national hub. Attendees typically reach Kyiv by train and continue to the venue by metro and trolleybus.
By road: In 2026 the convention was held at the Vita Park Borysfen hotel. The organizers' own route guide runs from Kyiv's central railway station by metro to Pochaina station, then by trolleybus 29 or 31 to the Park Muromets stop, a short walk from the hotel. For a taxi, they suggest entering "Hotel Vita Park Borysfen" in the app, and they recommend EasyWay over Google Maps for planning the route. Coordinate transport through the official Telegram channel.
Furrest Con is hosted at a hotel with a pool, a beach and an on-site restaurant, which in 2026 was the Vita Park Borysfen. The convention ticket does not include lodging. Attendees who are not staying at the hotel may not stay overnight and must leave the grounds by 11 PM.
The venue keeps a basement bomb shelter (with multiple exits, restrooms, and water) as a wartime safety measure, a detail the organizers are transparent about in their FAQ.

Furrest Con 2026 ran July 24-26 at the Vita Park Borysfen hotel under the Wild West theme. The edition featured Uncle Kage as guest of honor, an 11 PM curfew for day visitors, and a basement bomb shelter.
