Furrest Con

Furrest Con (Фурест Кон) is a small countryside furry convention held outside Kyiv, Ukraine. Running even through the war, it gathers the local fandom for a daytime weekend at a hotel in the countryside, complete with a guest of honor, an artist alley, and outdoor programming.

Registration for 2026 closes on July 22. A standard ticket is 3,000 UAH, with single-day guest tickets from 850 to 1,200 UAH and sponsor tiers at 6,000 and 8,000 UAH (lodging is booked separately). Uncle Kage brings his Story Hour as guest of honor, and the convention's mascot is a deer named Oliver, introduced in 2025.

By road: The venue is at a hotel outside Kyiv; the organizers provide detailed directions to registered attendees separately rather than publishing the address. Coordinate transport through the official Telegram channel.

Where Should I Stay for Furrest Con?

Furrest Con is hosted at a countryside hotel outside Kyiv with a pool, a beach, and an on-site restaurant. Because the convention runs in daylight only, with no overnight stays and all guests leaving by the 11 PM curfew, lodging is handled separately from the convention ticket, and many attendees base themselves in Kyiv.

Past Years

2025: First Official Edition

Furrest Con's first official edition ran June 14-15, 2025. The organizers say on their own site that it gathered 50 attendees, put together from scratch in four months. It introduced the convention's deer mascot, Oliver, and established the format of lectures, a game zone, a movie night, outdoor games, and a barbecue.

2024: The Unofficial Start

The convention began in 2024 as a small unofficial gathering organized by Hask at a forest-area hotel. The organizers describe it as a group of up to 20 people; no final headcount was ever published. That two-day getaway with a barbecue picnic grew into the official event the following year.
