FurryEST (FurryEST)

FurryEST is Estonia's signature summer furry convention, built around an outdoor-heavy setup near Kabala, Estonia rather than a conventional city hotel. The event is small enough to stay personal but established enough to have a real track record, regular lodging infrastructure, and repeat international attendance.

2026: Estonia's Summer Return

The current project transcript lists July 2-5, 2026 for the next FurryEST. The official site has not surfaced a dedicated 2026 landing page yet, but the convention's current format is already clear from the 2025 edition: communal barge-house sleeping spots, optional camping, and shuttle support from regional transit hubs.

That format is what makes FurryEST worth a page. It is not trying to compete with hotel mega-cons. Instead it offers a distinct Baltic summer-con experience with outdoor space, water access, and a deliberately relaxed atmosphere that fits the local scene.

Getting There

• Flying: Tallinn Airport (TLL) is the usual starting point for international attendees heading into Estonia.
• Rail and bus: The official site points attendees toward Rapla as the main transit handoff for train and bus service.
• Final transfer: FurryEST has historically offered transport from Rapla station for attendees who sign up in advance.

Accommodation

• Barge houses: The signature lodging option is a set of communal sleeping barges near the event grounds.
• Camping fallback: If bed spots run out, the convention explicitly allows attendees to bring tents and camp.
• Bring supplies: Because this is not a city-hotel con, pack with an outdoor weekend in mind.

Past Years

2025: Sunny and Wild. FurryEST 2025 returned to the Kabala barge houses for a tropical beach-party themed weekend. The Estonian community gathered for a unique riverside celebration of summer and local culture.
