TardeFurs is a community in Buenos Aires that runs free furry meets in the city's parks. Each meet is numbered and has a theme, such as an artist market, a game tournament or the yearly Halloween furwalk. The organizers announce every meet on their Telegram channel, usually three to four weeks ahead. No next meet after the October 2026 Halloween furwalk has been announced yet.
A TardeFurs meet is a long afternoon in a park, usually on a Sunday from about 13:00 to 18:00 or 19:00. People bring food, water and mate, sit on the grass and meet other furries, with or without a fursuit. Most meets have a main activity, for example a team game with prizes, a card tournament or a group photo.
"Mercantil" editions give community artists space to sell prints, stickers and other work. At many meets the organizers raffle a slot in the next commemorative sticker. Once a year, around Halloween, the meet becomes a furwalk: the group gathers at a plaza in Puerto Madero, walks through the area and ends the afternoon at Parque de las Mujeres Argentinas. Costumes are welcome on the walk, and the 2026 walk added a costume contest.
The regular park meets need no ticket, and the announcements list no entry fee. Special outings can cost money: a February 2026 boat trip to the Tigre delta was prepaid and included transport, lunch and a campsite. Each announcement says if you need to sign up in advance.
The meet moves between public parks in the city of Buenos Aires. Recent venues include Plaza de las Naciones Unidas by the Floralis Genérica, Parque Chacabuco, Parque Rivadavia, Parque Las Heras and Plaza República Árabe de Egipto. Each announcement names the park and often the nearest Subte station, and the exact meeting point is shared on Telegram on the day. If rain is forecast, the organizers usually move the meet to the following Sunday and post the change on the channel.
No date after the October 31, 2026 Halloween furwalk has been announced. Follow the TardeFurs channel for the next announcement.
