Newcastle Furmeets are monthly meetings for furries who live in Newcastle and the surrounding areas. The meets are held at Twenty Twenty Bar on Bigg Market. The group announces each meet date in its Telegram group. The next date is not published on the website.
Part of the meet is at the bar, and other parts, such as the fursuit walk, are in public. The venue part of the meet is 16+, while the fursuit walk is open to all ages. If it is your first meet, staff may ask for photo ID, or someone attending can vouch for you. Fetish wear is not allowed, but collars without leads and suit harnesses are fine.
Do not touch fursuits unless you are invited to, and do not take photos of people changing in or out of suit. Outside food and drink are not allowed inside the venue, except water that staff hand out for the fursuit walk.
No ticket is needed. Meet dates are announced in the group's Telegram group. The Newcastle Furmeets website links the group's Instagram, X and Facebook pages.
Twenty Twenty Bar is at 5 Bigg Market, Newcastle upon Tyne NE1 1UN. Haymarket, Monument and St James Metro stations are all within a 10-minute walk. The nearest pay and display car park is Eldon Garden, about 5 minutes away, and Eldon Square bus station serves many routes.

You must be 16 or older for the part of the meet at the venue. The fursuit walk and other public parts are open to all ages.
First-time attendees may be asked for photo ID, such as a driving licence, passport or Yoti app, or for someone at the meet to vouch for them.
