NCWV Furbowl is a furry bowling night in Morgantown, West Virginia, run by Mountain State Furries, a nonprofit furry group for the state. The name stands for North-central West Virginia, and the series came back in 2026 with two editions at Suburban Lanes. The organizers name each edition after a season or a theme, such as Summer 2026 and the Halloween "Hall-o-Peent". The next Furbowl is not announced yet.
Each Furbowl reserves six lanes for three hours of fursuit-optional bowling under glow lights, with dance music. You arrive in the parking lot first and check in with event staff, who wear "Mountain State Furries Event Staff" badges. They give you a Tyvek wristband to wear where it can be seen, and then the group goes into the alley together.
You need clean shoes that do not leave marks. Most fursuit footpaws are fine, but they must be free of grit from the parking lot. If you change into suit outside and your feet do not come off, the organizers suggest covering them with drawstring trash bags until you are inside. Alcohol is allowed if you follow the group's code of conduct and the alley's rules.
Buy a ticket for the edition you want on the Mountain State Furries website, where you can also choose to pay in cash at check-in. Tickets for Hall-o-Peent in October 2026 cost USD 8 to 14, with shoes included if you said you were with the group. In July 2026 tickets cost USD 8 to 15, cash buyers paid USD 15 at check-in, and shoe rental was extra.
Suburban Lanes is at 735-A Chestnut Ridge Road in Morgantown, next to Kegler's Sports Bar. The group uses its Telegram chat to arrange shared rides. Some editions add a meal at Kegler's before the bowling or ice cream after it.
No date is posted yet. New editions appear on the Mountain State Furries events page.
