The Lübecker Furdance (LFD) is a yearly furry dance in Lübeck, run by the local association HanseFurs e.V. It is a night for the harder styles: the organizers call it the loudest, darkest and hardest furdance in Germany. Four editions have run since 2023, the last three at the Strandsalon Lübeck. HanseFurs has not yet set a date for LFD 5.
The night starts softer and gets harder. At LFD 4 in October 2026 the line-up moved from techno and psytrance to melodic hardstyle, rawstyle, drum and bass and hardcore, with six DJs between 19:00 and 04:00. Doors open at 18:00. Suiters get their own lounge, open to them and one helper each, and nobody may take photos inside it. You must wear your LFD badge at all times. Smoking is only allowed outside, and you may not bring your own food or drinks. Fetish gear and open sexual behaviour are not allowed.
Registration runs on the HanseFurs registration site. For LFD 4 the normal ticket cost EUR 30 and the sponsor ticket EUR 50, paid in advance by bank transfer. Tickets cannot be refunded, but you can name another person to take your place up to 14 days before the event. In 2026 there was also a box office on the night. New dates and registration are announced on the HanseFurs Telegram channel.
Recent editions took place at the Strandsalon Lübeck, Willy-Brandt-Allee 25a, 23554 Lübeck. The first edition in 2023 was held at Bunker Lübeck on the Ziegelstraße.
Yes. The house rules say you must be 18 on the day of the dance, and the organizers check your ID or another official document. Without a valid ID you cannot attend.
No date is announced yet. The four editions so far ran in late October or November, and registration for LFD 4 opened on August 1, 2026, so watch the HanseFurs Telegram channel.
No. The LFD 4 page invites both people with a fursuit and people who just come for the atmosphere, and fursuiters have their own lounge.
Tickets are not refunded. You can pass your place to another attendee if you tell the organizers their name at least 14 days before the dance.
