On Saturday, November 14, 2026, Westside-Furs e.V. holds its first fursuit walk in the Brückenkopf-Park in Jülich. After the walk, the group stays in the park for a grill afternoon at the pavilion. The walk is part of the group's monthly walks across North Rhine-Westphalia, and this is the first one at this park.
The group meets from 09:00 in front of the park entrance, and suiters change between 09:00 and 10:00. The walk starts at 10:00 and usually ends between 13:00 and 14:00, according to the walk page. The park has old fortress works, quiet paths and a lot of green space for photos.
The after-walk grill starts at about 13:00, right after the walk, and runs until at least 17:00. It meets at the grill pavilion, which has a covered area against rain, lighting and background music. The grill includes pork or vegetarian sausages, poultry steaks, rolls, sauces, soft drinks and water. You can bring your own vegetarian, vegan or allergy-friendly food and use the grill, and salads for the buffet are welcome.
The group's rules for its walks ban alcohol, drugs and weapons, and ask for child-friendly outfits and behaviour. Non-suiters can join as spotters, photographers or watchers.
The park charges entry, so the walk is not free this time. Through the group rate, walk entry is EUR 5 per person, against EUR 6.50 at the park gate. Sign up on the walk page as a suiter, spotter, photographer or watcher.
The grill costs EUR 7 per person on top of park entry, and you sign up for it on its own page. Sign-up for both closes at 06:00 on the day. You can pay in cash or by card on site, or by bank transfer in advance.
The park is the Brückenkopf-Park, Rurauenstraße 11, 52428 Jülich. The organizers say parking at the Brückenkopf-Park car park is free. In winter the park ticket office opens at 10:00, while the group meets at 09:00, so check the Westside-Furs Telegram channel for entry details before you travel. Bring warm, weatherproof clothes, because mid-November can be cold.
