Furry Fusion Café

Furry Fusion Café is a free monthly furry meetup in Leeuwarden, the capital of Friesland in the northern Netherlands. Furry Fusion, a Dutch furry event group, organizes it alongside VRChat meetups, game nights and fursuit walks.

The eleventh edition is scheduled for Saturday, November 7, 2026, at Café De Zaak from 17:00 to 23:00.

What to Expect

Each café is a relaxed evening with other furries, billed by the organizers as a chance to catch up with familiar faces and meet new people. Fursuits are welcome. Since July 2026 the café has met at Café De Zaak, a private ground-floor venue that the group has to itself, so there are no stairs to deal with in suit.

Furry Fusion's Telegram and Discord groups are where the group shares news, sign-up links for its walks and its house rules.

How to Get Tickets

There is no charge, though you do need to book an Entry Ticket on the Furry Fusion pretix shop. Booking for each edition opens on its pretix page ahead of the date; for the November 7, 2026 edition it was set to open on October 11 at 12:00. The October 2026 edition was fully booked with a waiting list after its limit was set at 20 people because of changed circumstances, so book soon after sign-ups open. When you register you can choose whether to show your name on the public attendee list and whether you are bringing a fursuit.

How to Get There

Café De Zaak is at Bagijnestraat 63, 8911 DN Leeuwarden, in the city centre.

The October 10, 2026 edition was a one-off at The Drunken Dragon, Weerd 13, so check each edition's pretix page for the venue before you travel. For a bigger Dutch furry weekend, Dutch FurCon takes place in Groesbeek.
