Austin Furry Park Bark

Austin Furry Park Bark is a monthly furry picnic in a public park in North Austin, Texas. According to its organizer, the meetup is in its ninth year, with a break of about two years along the way. Families, newcomers and furries of all ages are welcome. The next Park Bark is on Saturday, November 21, 2026, from 2 to 5 pm.

What to Expect

The Park Bark is a relaxed afternoon picnic in a covered picnic area. Bringing food is not required, but individual servings, wrapped snacks and dishes that are not messy are welcome, as are drinks that are fine for all ages. Fursuits and other costumes are welcome, and there is usually a handful of fursuiters, more when the weather is cooler. For November 2026 the group plans a Thanksgiving "Pre-Leftovers" party.

The park does not allow glass or styrofoam containers. Under 18s should come with a parent or guardian.

How to Get Tickets

No Park Bark listing shows a fee. Each date is posted on the Austin Furries Park Bark Meetup group, where you can RSVP.
