ACFI FUR Night

ACFI FUR Night is a monthly 21+ furry rave at the Austin Eagle in Austin, Texas, run by Alamo City Furry Invasion, the Central Texas furry convention. FUR stands for Furry Underground Rave, and the bar calls the evening its Eagle Ark Night. It usually falls on the third Friday of the month from 10:00 PM to 2:00 AM, with furry DJs, and every announcement welcomes furries, pups, pets and handlers.

What to Expect

FUR Night is a dance night: a lineup of furry DJs plays the bar's sound system from 10:00 PM until 2:00 AM. ACFI describes the Austin Eagle as a full-service bar and grill that supports the LGBTQIA+ and leather communities, and the night has a 21+ door. After the July 2024 night the organizers said guests had come from Dallas, Houston and San Antonio. Boop Society of Central Texas joins ACFI in running the night.

How to Join

There is no RSVP; FUR Night is a public night at the bar for anyone 21 or older. The organizers do not publish a cover charge for it. Each month's date is confirmed shortly beforehand on ACFI's Bluesky, the FUR Night Telegram channel and the ACFI local events page.

The usual slot is the third Friday, but it moves when the bar has another booking or a big local event gets in the way. It ran on the fourth Friday in April and November 2025, and on the second Friday in April and August 2026, so check the announcement before you go.

How to Get There

The Austin Eagle is at 8201 Cross Park Drive in Austin. It is a full-service bar and grill, so food is available at the venue.
