TechFurMeet is a Czech furry convention built around electronics, technology, programming, and practical workshops. It grew from a 2016 ZodiaCon Arduino workshop into a specialized sibling event for attendees who want technical programming alongside the usual furry social experience.
TechFurMeet is a good fit if you want hands-on technical content rather than a general convention programme. TechFurMeet's homepage lists SIGs, workshops, and multiple event spaces at Hotel Oáza srdce, with Czech, Slovak, and English used for the event. The setting near the Seč dam and the Železné hory protected landscape area also gives the weekend a quieter residential feel than a city hotel convention.
TechFurMeet 2026 ran from February 12 to February 15, 2026 at Hotel Oáza srdce in Horní Bradlo. The official registration fee was 300 CZK for a regular attendee or 1,000 CZK for a sponsor. Hotel accommodation was a separate 2,400 CZK Friday-to-Sunday option or 3,600 CZK Thursday-to-Sunday option. No 2027 date appears on the official site, so check the organizer's pages before booking travel.
The convention uses Hotel Oáza srdce, Vršov 19, 539 53 Horní Bradlo, Czech Republic. The official site publishes the venue coordinates as 49.8061667, 15.7314472. The hotel is near the Seč dam in the Železné hory protected landscape area, so confirm the latest arrival instructions and transport options through the official site before travelling.
The venue has 34 two- to five-bed rooms and approximately 100 beds. The 2026 registration route offered on-site hotel accommodation for two or three nights, but those prices belong to the completed edition and are not a current 2027 offer.
