The Sachsen Fur Dance is the oldest active furdance series in Germany. Running since June 2008, it started with 16 guests in a Chemnitz venue and has since grown to 300-person sellouts at Club Puschkin in Dresden. The SFD is organized by Sachsen Furs e.V. and has held 28 editions across multiple Saxon cities.

What sets the SFD apart is its all-inclusive format. Your EUR 45 ticket covers entry, all-you-can-eat catering from 8 PM, a cocktail bar, and drinks. No additional spending is required once you are inside.

What to Expect

Doors open at 6 PM for registration. The dance runs from 7 PM to 3 AM. DJs play through the evening with electronic and dance music. The all-you-can-eat-and-drink catering begins at 8 PM and continues through the night.

Fursuiters must maintain complete coverage outside the fursuit lounge. The lounge is equipped with fans, water, and space to cool down.

Historically, the SFD included daytime fursuitwalks through the host city before the evening dance. Check the specific edition's schedule for whether a walk is planned.

How to Get Tickets

Registration is through sfd.sachsenfurs.de. Two tiers are available:

• Normal: EUR 45
• Sponsor: EUR 50

Payment is by bank transfer only. No refunds. SFD28 sold out at 300 tickets, so register as soon as registration opens.

How to Get There

Club Puschkin is at Leipziger Str. 12, 01097 Dresden. It is accessible by public transit from Dresden Hauptbahnhof. Dresden is reachable by train from Berlin (2 hours), Leipzig (1 hour), and Prague (2 hours).
