OwOstrava Outing

OwOstrava Outing

OwOstrava is a furry group in Ostrava that runs outings, picnics and walks around the city. Its first outing was in April 2026, followed by a picnic in July and an industrial-themed walk in September. The next event is a December meetup in Ostrava on Saturday, December 5, 2026; its time and meeting point are not published yet. The group posts each new outing on its website and its Telegram announcements channel.

What to Expect

The picnic and the September outing each had a public transport meeting point, a separate meeting point at the start of the route, and about five hours of walking and photo stops. The first route was described as very easy and suited to both fursuiters and people without a suit. The September 2026 outing walked through the Dolní Vítkovice industrial area, with an optional paid visit to the U6 museum. Organizers wear orange vests, helpers yellow and the medic red, so you can find them on the route. The group's rules say every outing is strictly SFW, because the walks pass among families and the public.

How to Get Tickets

The group asks everyone to register for each outing with an online form linked from the OwOstrava website and the Telegram channel. No fee is published for the outings. Read the event rules on the website before you go, because taking part means you accept them.

How to Get There

The location changes with each outing. Each announcement gives a public transport meeting point and the recommended tram or bus connections, for example from Ostrava-Svinov station. For the September outing, the organizers suggested that drivers arrive early, park and continue by public transport.

Frequently Asked Questions

How old do I need to be?

You must be at least 15 on the day of the outing, according to the group's rules. If you are under the age of majority and the outing needs registration, a parent or guardian must agree to it in the form. A single outing can set a higher age limit, and the announcement then says so.

Do I need a fursuit?

No. The organizers welcome people with and without a fursuit.
