The PragFUR Outing is a free, family-friendly fursuit walk through a Prague park, run each June by the PragFUR community. It is a relaxed afternoon loop with water stations, vested marshals, and group photos, open to fursuiters, photographers, and friends. No fursuit is needed to come along.
Participants gather in the early afternoon and walk an accessible loop of about 2.3 km. The most recent edition, on 20 June 2026, was held in Central Park Stodůlky in Prague 13; the 2025 route followed the Rokytka stream through Park Podviní with bridges and rest stops. The park rotates each year, so the 2027 location will be announced closer to the date. Organisers set up water stations (around 300 litres of drinking water in 0.5 L bottles) and wear color-coded staff vests: orange cap for lead organisers, orange for the team, blue for water carriers, yellow for medics, red for the camera crew. Merchandise sales and group photos are part of the day. The outing runs roughly 13:00 to 16:00, with the walk itself starting about 14:00.
The outing is free. Pre-registration is offered on the official outing page and via the Czech portal at pragfur.cz/register, but it is open to drop-ins, with the org using signups to plan water and marshal counts rather than as a hard gate. The date, meeting point, and route for each year are posted on the PragFUR site and Telegram. The PragFUR homepage card tends to publish the next year's date and venue before the dedicated outing page is retranslated from the previous year's recap, so check the homepage first.
The 2026 outing met in Central Park Stodůlky in Prague 13, reachable on the Prague metro (Line B to Stodůlky or Luka). The 2025 edition used Park Podviní in Vysočany (Prague 9), and the park has shifted each year as the org rotates editions. The 2027 venue is not yet confirmed, so confirm the meeting point and the nearest metro or tram stop on the PragFUR page before heading out.
PragFUR has run the outing annually since 2023. The 1st edition was held in 2023, the 2nd in 2024, the 3rd on 21 June 2025 in Park Podviní, and the 4th on Saturday 20 June 2026 in Central Park Stodůlky. A 5th edition is expected in June 2027, with the date and park to be announced on the PragFUR homepage card closer to the day. The route and park shift between editions, but the format stays consistent: free, accessible, family-friendly, with the same 13:00 → 14:00 → 16:00 rhythm and the same color-coded marshal taxonomy. PragFUR also runs sibling brand events alongside the annual outing, including PragFUR Tram and PragFUR Cinema.
