Our Take on Beetlecat Originals
No take yet. Send us yours.

Beetlecat Originals is the studio of Deanna, a sculptural artist making expressive realistic and semi-realistic creature costumes. The official site says she began producing fursuit-style mascot work in 2005 and has worked professionally in the form since 2007.
Style and construction
The work starts from real-animal reference but is deliberately expressive rather than anatomical reproduction. Construction can combine cast resin, foam, hand-painted eyes, custom teeth, airbrushing, and other sculptural materials. The studio is also known for realistic ears and tails.
Current status
The official commission page says Beetlecat Originals is closed to all new commissions and will decide how to proceed after the existing waiting list is complete. There is no reopening date. Watch the linked official accounts for artistic-liberty or sale opportunities and ignore third-party claims of an available slot.
If commissions return, verify the current terms and payment schedule before relying on historical price or queue information.
