How It Works & Tips
Auto cuts out the subject in one click, great for fursuit photos, full scenes, and busy backgrounds. Manual mode is a magic-eraser flood fill, best for solid or gradient backgrounds and fine touch-ups. Either way, all processing happens locally in your browser, so nothing is ever uploaded.
Auto vs Manual
Start with Auto. If an edge or gap looks off, click "Refine in Manual" to fix it with the eraser and restore brushes.
First Run Sets Up
The first run sets things up in your browser and is cached. After that, removals run in a second or two, quicker on newer devices.
Manual Tolerance Tuning
In Manual mode, start at 25. If too little is removed, increase it. If parts of your subject disappear, decrease it and click again on remaining background areas.
Use Restore Mode
If part of your subject gets removed, switch to "Magic Restore" or "Brush Restore" and click/paint on it to bring it back. You can undo mistakes too.
