South Carolina State Furs Meetup

South Carolina State Furs Meetup

South Carolina State Furs, or SCSF, is a statewide furry group that runs meetups across South Carolina, mostly in Columbia and Greenville. Its meets range from karaoke nights and game store hangouts to holiday parties, potlucks and an Easter egg hunt. Each meet is announced on the group's all-ages announcements channel, usually with the date, place, cost and, for most meets, an age limit. No meet after June 2026 is posted on the public channel yet.

What to Expect

Every SCSF meet is a different outing, organized by a host from the group. In Columbia the group has announced karaoke at Tsubaki Karaoke Lounge and Bar, a baseball game at Segra Park and a hangout at the Firefly Toys & Games store, which lends out board games and has an arcade. In Greenville it has announced a holiday party, a social and a meetup at SC Comicon. The March 2026 egg hunt at Heritage Park in Simpsonville was catered by an ice cream truck, and the group thanked attendees afterwards.

Each announcement gives its own age limit, so some meets are for all ages and some are for adults only. The group's event rules are in a document linked from the SCSF link page.

How to Get Tickets

Many meets are free, including the 2025 holiday party and the June 2026 game store hangout. Some ask you to RSVP so the host can plan, and the host of the 2025 TopGolf meet warned that people who missed it without notice would be barred from that host's RSVP meets for three months. Each announcement says the cost and how to sign up.

How to Get There

The meeting place changes with each meet and is given in the announcement. Follow the SCSF announcements channel on Telegram, which anyone can view.
