Rochester Trinket Trade is an adults-only furry swap meet in the Rochester, New York area. Furs bring pins, stickers, keychains, plushies, prints, kandi, craft supplies and fursuit parts, and trade them for things they like better. The organizers compare it to the trinket trading panels at furry conventions, on a local scale. Five editions were posted for 2026, and the next date is not posted yet.
Each Trinket Trade runs from noon to 6 pm. You bring items you want to swap and trade them with other attendees, and no money may change hands, because it is a trading event and not a sales event. The hosts usually bring art, colouring or kandi supplies to share, and the October 2026 edition added a sketchbook swap table. Food is potluck style, and bringing something to share is optional.
The dress code is "fur con casual". There is no alcohol, no pets and no very loud music. Trinket Trade is 18+. Items with adult themes are only allowed if you keep them covered and show them only to people who ask.
There are no tickets. The host suggests a donation of USD 5 to 20 to cover the venue, and nobody is turned away for not paying. RSVP on the event post in the Rochester Furry Events channel and join the event chat linked there.
The venue changes between editions. Past editions were at the lodges in Churchville Park and at the Acorn Shelter in Durand Eastman Park, while the latest venues were shared in the event chat. Each announcement says whether the venue is indoors or an open shelter, so dress for the weather.
