Montana Anthro Ski Weekend is an annual furry ski weekend at Bridger Bowl, the ski area in the Bridger Mountains north of Bozeman, Montana. Its Bluesky profile calls it "a full open invite early spring furry skiing event". It has run every year since 2020, and the 2026 edition drew 49 attendees, 26 of them fursuiters.
The weekend is built around skiing rather than a convention programme. On the 2026 schedule, people arrived on Friday evening to check in and socialize, met at Bridger Bowl on Saturday and Sunday mornings, and skied through the day. On Saturday evening the group had dinner together at the C'mon Inn in Bozeman, and Sunday was the departure day. The organizers asked for volunteers to help with the dinner through their Telegram group, which is linked from the official site.
In 2025, 20 of the 46 attendees were fursuiters, and in 2026 it was 26 of 49. You buy your own lift ticket, at the group rate described below.
No registration fee appears on the official site; the costs it mentions are the lift ticket and your hotel. You register through the form on the official site, and registering is what gets you the Bridger Bowl group discount code. For 2026, people who registered before February 9 received codes for $72-a-day lift tickets, and the organizers stressed that you must register to get them. In 2025 the group rate was $70 a day. The 2026 form has closed, and registration, the lift-ticket price and the deadline for 2027 have not been announced yet. Watch the official site and the event's Bluesky account for the 2027 opening.
Skiing takes place at Bridger Bowl Ski Area, 15795 Bridger Canyon Rd, Bozeman, MT 59715. The organizers describe Bridger Bowl as Bozeman's local ski area, about 20 minutes north of town.
The organizers encourage attendees to book at the C'mon Inn Bozeman, 6139 E Valley Center Rd, Bozeman, MT 59718, and say most of the group likes to stay there. There is no official room block, so book your own room. The organizers suggest writing that you are "Part of the Montana Anthro Ski Weekend Group" in your booking comments, which may help the hotel put the group in one area, although this is not guaranteed. In 2025 the organizers noted that rooms there were under $200 a night.
It runs on Saturday, February 20 and Sunday, February 21, 2027. The dates came in a Bluesky post on February 24, 2026, two days after the 2026 weekend ended.
Yes, if you want the group lift-ticket rate. The organizers hand out the Bridger Bowl discount codes only to registered attendees, and in 2026 the codes went to people who registered before February 9.
Not officially. Most of the group stays at the C'mon Inn Bozeman, where the Saturday group dinner is held, but there is no room block and you book your room yourself.
Fursuiters have skied with the group at recent editions: 20 of the 46 attendees in 2025 and 26 of the 49 in 2026 were fursuiters. The organizers' posts show suiters on the slopes at Bridger Bowl.
