Furryday (獸曜日)

Furryday (獸曜日, read じゅうようび) is a furry gathering series run by a team of furries based in southern Taiwan. The team started with small fan meetups in Tainan and now holds themed one-day events across Tainan and Chiayi, from banquets and tea parties to pop-up events in department stores. Every gathering gets its own name, artwork and setting, often built around the team's official mascot characters. The next edition, 糖鐵蜜獸, is on Sunday, December 20, 2026 at Wushulin Recreation Park, a Taisugar sugar-railway park in Tainan.

What to Expect

Furryday events are daytime gatherings with a theme, rather than club nights. The 糖鐵蜜獸 key visual carries the Taisugar and Wushulin Recreation Park logos and shows the team's characters riding the park's small sugar train past the old Wushulin station.

Every ticket includes entry to the park's railway exhibition and earthquake experience hall and a ride on the sugar train (五分車). Ticket holders also get 10% off Taisugar ice treats at the park shop and free snacks at the event service desk. The fursuiter ticket adds use of a fursuit changing and rest room. The event system also tracks small game missions, and each completed game earns a raffle ticket.

The team has not yet published a full programme or start and end times for December 20. Check the official website and the Facebook page for the schedule.

How to Get Tickets

Registration is on the official Furryday website and needs a free account. Registration for 糖鐵蜜獸 opened on October 24, 2026 and is capped at 100 people. The three ticket types are:

• 蔗裡有獸, NT$300: the standard ticket, with a blue event badge and lanyard, park railway and earthquake hall entry, a sugar-train ride, the ice discount and the snack bar.
• 蔗裡有毛, NT$500: recommended for fursuiters and their handlers. It adds a green badge and the fursuit changing and rest room.
• 乾爹在蔗, NT$900 plus a sponsorship of NT$100 or more, limited to 10 people: it adds a sponsor-only train carriage with a personalised banner hung on the outside, which you can collect from the service desk after the event.

Payment is by bank transfer or TWQR only; the site does not take online card or convenience-store payments. After paying, you submit a payment form on the site, and the team confirms it by hand within one to two working days. The organizers use the personal details from your account to buy event insurance, so enter your real name and contact details.

How to Get There

Wushulin Recreation Park (烏樹林休閒園區) is at No. 184, Wushulin, Houbi District, Tainan City (臺南市後壁區烏樹林184號). The park's listed weekend hours are 8:30am to 5:30pm, and its phone number is 06-685-2681. No transport or parking advice for the event is out yet, so check the announcements nearer the date. Other Furryday editions used different venues, so check the address for each edition before you travel.

Is there an age limit at Furryday?

Furryday has published no age policy for 糖鐵蜜獸. Contact the team through its Facebook page or by email at [email protected] before you register if this matters to you.

Do I need a fursuit to attend?

No. The standard ticket is for everyone, and the 蔗裡有毛 ticket exists for fursuiters and handlers who want the changing room.

Can I pay at the door?

The registration system works by advance bank transfer or TWQR payment with manual confirmation. Door sales have not been announced, so register online before the 100 places are gone.

Is Furryday always in Tainan?

No. The team is based in Tainan, but it has also held editions in Chiayi City and Chiayi County, and each edition picks its own venue.
