Fur'West Furbar

Furbar is a monthly furry meetup in a bar in Nantes, run by Fur'West, the association for the furry community in Nantes and the surrounding area. Furs gather around one long table to chat, share their latest projects and spend a friendly evening over a drink. Upcoming evenings at the Santeuil Café are scheduled for Saturday, October 17 and Saturday, November 7, 2026.

What to Expect

Furbar starts at 19:00 on the evening before Fur'West's monthly FAWN + Fluff'n'Craft workshop, or before the Nanthro weekend meet when one falls in that month. That timing makes it an easy add-on if you are already in Nantes for the next day.

The bar serves hot tartines, so you can eat on the spot without going elsewhere for dinner. Fursuits are welcome in part only: the organizers accept heads and paws, because the bar has little space, and there is no fursuit lounge or fan.

How to Join

Entry is free, but you order and pay for your own food and drinks at the bar. Places are limited to 15 people to keep the evening comfortable, and several recent Furbars filled every sign-up place, so register early. Registration is on each dated page in the Fur'West agenda, and you need a Fur'West website account to sign up.

Arrive on time. If the bar is busy, it may give seats that are still empty after a while to other customers.

Minors may come along, because Furbar follows the bar's own policy on minors.

How to Get There

The Santeuil Café is at 5 Rue Santeuil, 44000 Nantes. Fur'West names the venue on each dated event page, so check the page for your date before you go.
