Charlotte Furs Meetup

Charlotte Furs Meetup

Charlotte Furs is a furry community group for the Charlotte metro area in North Carolina, and it runs a meetup about once a month. Each meetup is a different outing, from bowling and roller skating to picnics, hikes and movie nights. Newcomers to the fandom are welcome, and the group's Meetup page links an explanation of what furries are. The next outing after Halloween 2026 is not posted yet.

What to Expect

Every month brings a new activity in a new place around Charlotte. In 2026 the group went roller skating at Kate's Skating Rink in February, bowling at Bowlero Matthews in March and to Frankie's Fun Park in April. Summer brought a potluck picnic in Stallings and a movie night, and in September a hike at Lake Norman State Park. The Halloween 2026 bowling was planned at an alley whose owner allows bowling in fursuit.

The organizers also encourage members to post their own events on the group calendar.

How to Get Tickets

RSVP for each outing on the Charlotte Furs Meetup group. Some outings have a fee paid through Meetup, such as USD 9 for the June 2026 picnic and USD 10 per hour for the Halloween bowling, while others are pay-your-own at the venue. For the Halloween 2026 bowling the organizers asked for RSVPs a week ahead so they could book lanes.

How to Get There

The place changes every month and is shown on each Meetup event. Outings so far have been in Charlotte and nearby towns such as Huntersville, Matthews, Monroe, Stallings and Statesville.
